Zenko is built so that each business's data lives in its own workspace. We collect the account details needed to run your workspace, we let payment processors collect what they need to collect money, and we never sell your data. This page explains the details.
Account data — the business name, contact details and login email you give us at
signup, and the user accounts you invite into your workspace.
Billing data — subscription and payment records. Card details are handled by
Stripe; we never see or store them. If you enable online payments, your clients pay
through your own Stripe account and Stripe's privacy policy covers those transactions.
Workspace content — the contacts, jobs, invoices and other records you and your
team create in your workspace. We process this to provide the service, nothing more.
Technical data — basic server logs needed to keep the platform secure and
diagnose problems.
Each workspace's data is stored in its own database, separated from every other workspace. Infrastructure runs in [hosting region / provider]. If you enable optional integrations (such as Xero), the data you choose to sync is transmitted to those services under their own privacy policies.
We use a strictly necessary authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics, if ever added, will be disclosed here before it is switched on.
We keep workspace data for as long as the workspace is subscribed, plus a grace period after non-payment or cancellation so you can export it. Deleting a workspace is permanent. You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [support email address]; we will respond within a reasonable period.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because your workspace data is under your control inside the product, most requests are best handled by your own workspace admin — but we will help if you contact us.
We use encryption in transit, secrets held outside source control, per-workspace data isolation and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected workspace admins promptly if a breach ever affects your data.
Zenko is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If we materially change how we handle personal data we will update this page and notify workspace admins before the change takes effect.
Privacy questions can be sent to [support email address], or by post to [registered address]. [Platform Operator legal entity] is the data controller for the platform service.
